Writing from both the cutting edge of scientific discovery and the front-lines of elite athletic performance, National Magazine Award-winning science journalist Alex Hutchinson presents a revolutionary account of the dynamic and controversial new science of endurance.
But four years after a night of red-hot passion forced Ch…ad into making a dream-shattering choice, Josh Bennett has become a household name while Chad lives hand-to-mouth slinging drinks at the local sports bar. Worse yet, Josh is coming back to town to attend Ashely’s wedding — a wedding at which Chad must make an appearance, even if it means exposing the real reason he called off their romance all those years ago.
With extraordinary access to the West Wing, Michael Wolff reveals what happened behind-the-scenes in the first nine months of the most controversial presidency of our time in Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House. Since Donald Trump was sworn in as the 45th President of the United States, the country—and the world—has witnessed a stormy, outrageous, and absolutely mesmerizing presidential term that reflects the volatility and fierceness of the man elected Commander-in-Chief.
After Sniper cut the umbilical cord, and Spy had delivered the afterbirth, the infant was cleaned and wrapped up in blankets to keep her warm. Spy was also seen to and had a blanket wrapped around him as well as a pillow placed beneath his head so he could rest. He would need some time to recover from the birth. Medic needed to keep him overnight for observation. The still nameless infant girl was asleep in a makeshift cot, which was really just an empty drawer filled with blankets. She was now dry and fed after Spy had (very reluctantly) expressed some milk for her to be fed via a bottle.
Everyone has a breaking point. For Peter it’s when seeing his lifeless child next to him all because nobody trusted him. To love is to trust. He loved them with everything he had and left none for himself. He trusted them yet they couldn’t do the same. Now his world is gone, laying in a pool of blood beside him. He will no longer give and give, it’s his turn to take. And nothing will stop him to get his revenge.
Each story is only a couple of hours – so it’s no biggie to knock the two stories out back to back. One note on the narration: I would have preferred a deeper voice for Zeke. He sounded a bit…small, and not at all what I would expect of a huge tiger shifter.
The book is very good, liked that either one was sure what was going to happen only that a baby was made and now they had to work on what to do now and one had a hard time in believing any of it was true that where the fun comes in, how they get to love one an other, want more of her books
Swollen ankles, swollen breasts, morning sickness, rounded belly, et cetera – I honestly have no intention of being involved in the pregnancy process at ANY time in my life, and by no means do I want to hear about it, whether it’s being written in a logical, biologically possible way or a nonsensical one.
Birth of surpriseShe huffed and puffed and closed her eyes as a contraction came. All she could do was get through it. Alexis had more important things to do. It was CHRISTMAS, after all. The contractions had woken her up at about 4am, about two hours earlier than she’d wanted to wake up.
They live in a world where omegas are treated as less than everyone else, where they are considered dumb and are only seen as wombs. We see them fighting for their love and against the system that has been imposed by society. In the surface, this seems as another mpreg story, but it goes deeper than that.
Stiles is sitting at the kitchen counter when Derek comes in, red pen out as he grades papers. Derek watches him as he shrugs off his coat, drinks in the long line of his neck, and he’s suddenly terrified that Stiles is going to leave him. Why, he doesn’t know – but then Stiles lifts his head and smiles faintly, and some of the tightness in Derek’s chest loosens.
NOTE: This is a non-shifter Omegaverse story with alpha/omega/beta dynamics, heats, knotting, and mpreg. In this world, omegas are second-class with few civil rights and almost no protections under the law. Trigger warnings for physical, emotional, and sexual abuse

Evidence by JezebelGoldstone – Angry papa Lestrade comes bounding up to 221B demanding the return of all the evidence Sherlock stole so the detective tells the DI about some of the evidence so he’ll let him keep it. (Sherlock is amazingly sentimental in this, I love him)
“Good. Because, you’re about to see the whole baby!” Jarris screamed, baring down, his chin in his chest as he pushed with all of his might to get the baby that had made his life misery for the past nine and a half months. The baby slid out easily, coming out in a bloody mess, and crying loudly. Jarris began crying as well, happy that his hell was finally over, and that he could finally meet his son.
“I have been withering all I find near the camp,” Alvarr said, “but it has taken hold of some of the open plains.”  He shuddered, remembering the birds he had found dead on the ground from eating the seeds.
Bidding farewell to hyung I pushed off for the airport. The journey to the airport was surprising not too long thanks to no traffic. I reached the airport in 20 minutes and proceeded to check-in. Manager Minsŏ had already made arrangements for my arrival at the airport. One of the entries was blocked and was heavily guarded by security. I see a huge group of people swarming around my way in the airport. Manager Minsŏ asked me to wait by the car as he moved towards the security guards to inform them to clear the path for me.
What this book lacks is an ENDING. Crumb, I hate that. I don’t care if we get set up for the next book, which I assume will be Kell’s story. I’d be a buyer and I am sure I will still be a buyer, even with my frustration with this one. Nothing wraps up in this book. Tarek and Braun’s relationship isn’t totally settled. Tarek still has problems to handle (not saying more in order to not spoil anything for other readers). I could understand if EVERYONE’s issues aren’t settled at the end of this, because they can continue into the next book. This just left me feeling unresolved and disappointed.
In this A/B/O universe, there are no shifters. There are no females. There are Alphas who are in charge, Betas who are barren but are allowed to hold jobs and adopt children (usually Beta and Omega children), and Omegas who are the lowest of the low and whose sole purpose, it seems, is to be mated to Alphas and be good little breeders.
When a familiar and dangerous presence shows up in search of Matthew to bring him home, Ezra must change his ways in order to keep his newfound love by his side. Failing that, Matthew will be forced to go through with his prearranged mating, and Ezra will lose him forever. Can these two shifters from different worlds come together in time to save their budding relationship? Or will the experience leave their hearts stripped and bare?
Since they were born, both Mistoffolees and Victoria had experienced everything with each other. Facing exile once the tribe found out that they were the offspring of the infamous Macavity, being adopted and raised by Bustopher Jones, and now, they were both mated to two toms that they were madly in love with, Victoria to Plato and Mistoffolees to Tugger. What really caught them off guard was when they both revealed to each other that they were pregnant. Misto wa
Braun is a rarity….a 20 year old omega who hasn’t gone into his first heat and is still unmated. He’s terrified of mating. His alpha father and his brother’s alpha are both incredibly cruel men and he can’t ever see trusting someone like that to hold his life. But then he meets Tarek.
“Oooh, the handsome guy next door has a new Carrier.” One of the orange Alpha’s four Carriers was perched atop a tree, peering into the neighboring habitat through a small rectangular hole. He slipped down the tree to join the other three below.
By getting Castiel pregnant, Dean will out him as a witch to everyone and not even being Dean’s lover will save Castiel’s life. In fact, it will condemn him even quicker if John believes a witch has gained influence over his heir.
After a bout of ill health his father seems ready to pass the torch at any moment. Unfortunately, the timing couldn’t be any worse. Rocco has only just decided that he needs to part ways with his current boyfriend Skye, but he’s going to need a mate in order for the pack to accept him fully as Alpha—not to mention fend off evil rival Jarvis’ challenge to his status.
Dean stared wide-eyed as the pain dissipated once more and the shining indescribable form of light revealed in Castiel’s hands. Dean felt his heart melt some more as he saw shining bright grass green orbs within the form.
Today was a bad day. Yaku knew from the moment he woke up. He kept on making these short little whines kept popping up out of knowhere, he had a headache, and it felt like the entirety of his body was cramping. It was just not going to be his day. All he wanted was to curl up into his nest and murmur himself to sleep. If he didn’t have a test in English he probably would have stayed home.
Four original, unabridged, full-cast productions of Gail Carriger’s most beloved fantasy short stories: “The Curious Case of the Werewolf That Wasn’t, the Mummy That Was, and the Cat in the Jar”: A mummified cat, a secret agent, and an aristocrat entangle Alessandro Tarraboti (father of Alexia Tarraboti from the Parasol Protectorate series) in a rollicking, wry adventure into the supernatural secrets of ancient Egypt.

School teacher birthShe, Becky, looked out the window as the storm grew. She worried about her students well-being since the principle was very stern about them not being able to go home until the weather cleared. She and her friend teacher, Carl, watched as some of her students, the kids mostly, hid in a corner from the thunder. A small girl was in her lap clinging to her hugely pregnant belly and the others were restless and near panic as the thunder clapped loudly sending the power out and several loud screams. “Everyone please come over here.” She said moving over to the story time mat. Her students quickly huddled to her clinging to her tightly. Carl huddled his students around protectively. “It’s all going to be fine.” He said stroking some of the tiny hands clinging to him. “Shhh shh… Don’t cry. Your all going to be fine.” They tried to calm the small children as they whimpered. Becky winced some stroking her contracting stomach. ‘Just wait… please…’ She thought to her unborn child. “Teachew.
