In his most provocative and practical book yet, one of the foremost thinkers of our time redefines what it means to understand the world, succeed in a profession, contribute to a fair and just society, detect nonsense, and influence others. Citing examples ranging from Hammurabi to Seneca, Antaeus the Giant to Donald Trump, Nassim Nicholas Taleb shows how the willingness to accept one’s own risks is an essential attribute of heroes, saints, and flourishing people in all walks of life.

I’m not really sure if that does…I don’t really think it does qualify. Does he give his seed to basically feed the egg? Because if his seed was required in order for the egg to be formed, then it would count as mpreg I think. However, if it is just to nourish the egg similar to say food or water for humans, then no, not mpreg.
I have a guilty pleasure—mpreg. Believe me, I know the psychological implications of being interested in this sort of kink, and I’d probably agree with most of what would apply to me, but that doesn’t change the fact that I love it.
When Juniper’s friend Elysa invites her to dinner, the last thing she expects is to be set up on a blind date. And if that wasn’t the worst surprise ever, her date turns out to be her middle school nemesis, Ansel. Except now he looks like a male supermodel, with his dark hair, broody eyes, and a chiseled muscular body that makes her swoon. How can she ever say no to him, even if he teased her mercilessly when they were kids?
Nicole- I totally relate to a hubby not eating treats. Why not get snack sized baggies and fill them with his favorite snacks, like an awesome trail mix, or dried fruit of some kind. Also yummy fruit leathers would be an easy way to do this or granola bars. I hope that helps.
Roaming Free is the third book in The Omega Date Diaries series. I continue to be amazed by Odin’s stories. I find along with the sexy times and love story that there is always something that speaks to me. In this story it is Taly’s personal struggles with his Wolf and the fact that he cannot control when or where he shifts. His mental connection with his Wolf is faulty and he shifts when he is too anxious, or too excited and he fears hurting someone so he stays away from others. ( For me Anxiety and Panics can sometimes feel like an out of control “wolf” taking over my body.) This story is full of Love, HEAT and Acceptance. Taly and Roam’s story is a real page turner. Make sure you have time and zero distractions because your going to want to read this book straight through! I highly recommend Roaming Free as well as the other books in this series! I wish I could have given more than 5 stars! I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
”Wake up, sweetie.” Bethany heard a voice calling to her through the fog of sleep. She opened her eyes and looked up at Freddy. He was hovering over her with wide smile on his face. ”Wake up. It’s your birthday.”

This is a collection of four stories about two guys who fall in love, with a baby to show them what is really important. Each story is unique but I fell in love with each couple as I read about them. You honestly don’t want to miss this book!
Alissa introduces Ritter to a willowy young man who doesn’t know enough of Ritter’s reputation to be scared away, but Ritter doesn’t want to date a mere “wrench monkey,” and Joshua doesn’t want to be just another notch on Ritter’s scalpel.

‘I tend to do novel-length outlines 🙂 as Storm Constantine will attest. That’s how we did Silverheart, for instance — my ‘outline’ was 45,000 words, the length of the first Hawkmoon books, almost.'[2]

Cagingham (John Cage and Merce Cunningham), pioneers of homonormcore, are redecorating their downtown New York rent-controlled loft. John prepares lunch, boiling three white duck eggs for three minutes: One for him, one for Merce, and one for Jérôme, their sweet little boy. Merce, balancing without effort on a ladder in white overalls, announces he is pregnant again, and that the curtains they bought from Ikea are too short. After the eggs, Merce does the dishes, and then Cagingham take the subway to Ikea to exchange the curtains for a larger pair. On arrival, Yvonne, their friend the customer service representative with “the eyes of the Mona Lisa” warns them that “this is the new world order of curtains,” and that all curtains only come in one size. Cagingham decide to keep the curtains. They go home, re-hang them and get used to their friends from the other lofts watching them eat boiled eggs through the gap in the curtain.

I absolutely Loved Aaron and Indigo’s story. Odin writes stories you can immerse yourself in. Aaron and Indigo meet through the Omega Date app. Indigo has been hurt by before and reluctantly goes on the app hoping for a deeper connection. Aaron uses the app more for casual hook ups and doesn’t really believe in happily ever after. Their reasons for using the dating app aren’t the only differences between them. Indigo believes in the afterlife, spirits, ghosts and fate. Aaron is a skeptic and believes either that the psychics are at worst frauds cheating people out of their money or at best misguided or looney. He doesn’t believe in fate. When Aaron is sent to Indigo’s town to investigate the paranormal happenings and debunk them, he is surprised to find that Indigo is the son of the psychic. Can two people with vastly different views on the world around them find a way to be together? Will Aaron be the one who can help Indigo get over his past? Will Indigo be the one to make Aaron believe? Charmed Fates is about finding a way to be accepting of others differences and supporting someone unconditionally. With steamy sexy times and a wonderful story I totally recommend this book! I am voluntarily reviewing an ARC of Charmed Fates.

Inverted A/B/O: a world where being an alpha is the worst thing that could ever happen to you, and being an omega is the golden ticket to life. Alphas are seen as rut-driven, uncontrollably violent, and too stupid to hold down a job other than hard labor. Omegas are the competent ones, the smart ones, the ones that can think with their brains instead of their genitals.
Why we think it’s a great listen: Some books are meant to be read; others are meant to be heard – Water for Elephants falls into the second group, and is one of the best examples we have of how a powerful performance enhances a great story. Nonagenarian Jacob Jankowski reflects back on his wild and wondrous days with a circus. It’s the Depression Era and Jacob, finding himself parentless and penniless, joins the Benzini Brothers Most Spectacular Show on Earth.
