Almost all our respondents read fanfiction on the Archive Of Our Own (or “AO3”), a non-profit, fan-run, open-source archive with a commitment to free speech. There were notably few respondents who read stories on Wattpad, a site that is thought to have a younger userbase than the Archive Of Our Own. (Conclusive stats aren’t publicly accessible.) Wattpad is commercially run and focuses on mobile reading. Its viewership data isn’t calculated in the same way as the AO3’s, so it’s hard to compare their popularity, but it’s certainly a very well-trafficked site, and its community isn’t fully represented here.

This is the first book of the Huntington Mountain Wolves series and features the Kincaid family. The book is hot and steamy, with rough-around-the-edges Alpha males, inexperienced Omegas, and sticky action. Yes, the book contains MPREG, and the Alpha male uses colorful language. There are twists and turns and tons of fun, what are you waiting for!
Sorry for the late response, but I’ll try to help you out the best I can with my understanding of the AU! Most traits of omegaverse depend on the author’s wishes, but as far as my basic knowledge goes, here’s what I can say. In most Au’s, female alphas may have a sheathed penis or a micropenis in which a smaller, or normal sized, knot will be available. In some AU’s, even a female alpha may not have a penis, instead, though very rare, being the only one able to get pregnant besides an omega or beta female.
Some of Specter’s best work! With the excitement of a bootcamp competition that feels like the Hunger Games and the additional sizzle of a secret romance, this book moves at a steady pace. The mystery of the pregnancy and looming threat of those who would use the knowledge of it for gain creates an air of tension. I really liked that we saw everything from Issac’s POV since we had a gay-for-you angle. The way that played out was really believable and even the pregnancy felt realistic (with the usual suspension of disbelief). It felt like a longer, fuller story than the page count would lead you to believe. It was unusual to see an omega who was “all man” instead of the tiny, twinky character that we usually see. All in all, a lot to recommend this one!
“W…wait…” Tino wheezed. He was exhausted from walking, and was completely out of breath. He had very little stamina. Topaz waited for him to catch his breath and stop panting before speaking again.
Birthday Roses – Part 4Tia let out a low keening groan as the current contraction rushed through her, gripping the sheets of the bed over which she leaned. A part of her longed to lay down on the mattress, but the very thought of moving from her spot seemed impossible. She could focus only on the pain, hoping that concentration would help her get through it…
2. Mpreg, as a category, is the fetishization of trans men’s bodies to primarily pursue male pregnancy above all else (often involving plenty of smut), more often than not ignoring any and all trans experiences that either don’t fit the narrative they want to tell, or are too ‘difficult’ or ‘scary’ for the writers to write. This is deeply fetishistic in a world where there’s next to no representation of trans men that doesn’t include the fetishization of their bodies and the sexual use of them in ways befitting the cis gaze and standard dehumanization.
Dean Mathews leads a normal, if boring life. His career, his home, his social life, none of it is really what he wanted for himself, but it’s the life he has nonetheless. A small coincidence brings him the opportunity to take ownership of his grandfather’s old farm, to bring the place under his wing and careful hand. This choice will lead him from his old life to face a host of new challenges, most of which he expected. The unforeseen comes in the form of Mikael Reed, a simple carpenter – with a few secrets.
This was super sweet. I mean melt in your mouth fall in love kind of romance. It had its sexy moments too but Mac and Jason are the epitome of a falling in love more and more as you learn about someone. They were not even supposed to be the couple, or so it seemed at first, but the more they got to know one another the more they fell in love. I love that it wasnt instant just because of a mating thing like most shifter stories. most of the time its a destined thing and that. well this is so much better. they get to be sweet and lovey and learn more and more about one another to love day after day. more romance books should be written this way.
Sans has been having a bad time with memories from the genocide route and his friends want to help but how are they supposed to help when he keeps to himself and when a even greater problem comes forth which concerns a old enemy and his brother. what choice do the other AUs have but to help? After all their enemy is just like them. This is a multiple AU sans fic (mainly classic GB bros timeline
The Beta is just like a basic human. They can still have children but usually just with other Betas. Not many writers write about Betas but the usual things that are written is them having just a normal sense of smell. They can’t pick up on an Omega’s needs and Alphas will usually not consider them a threat.
In canon, mpreg is often explained by alien biology. Alien Nation and Star Trek: Enterprise both have canonical male pregnancy, Torchwood has a reference to it as well, and in Farscape one of the alien male characters accidentally does much of the gestating of John and Aeryn’s child.

“I dislike the whole concept of [A/B/O]. I mean, sure there are parallels to ways of life in the real world where there are alpha people who kind of have the power over others, but that’s because it’s in different cultures, not on a biological level. And my instinct tells me it’s so basically wrong that people/persons can be reduced to animalistic aspects like it’s drawn out in the omegaverse.” (Laura, female, straight, 18-25, Germany)
He leaned against the door of the bar, which was bustling with people; jovial and eager. Inspite of the happy atmoshphere he was in, hopelessness filled him entirely, it was as if he was stuck in a continous rut that was his love life. Not matter whom he was with, what he did with them, or even what…
A Hunt nearly going wrong is the least of Sam and Dean’s problems when an over looked creature exacts it’s vengeance. WARNING- Non-con and future Wincest & Mpreg. Don’t Like Don’t read, NO FLAMES AND PLEASE REVIEW!
the reason i get so discoursey about mpreg is not solely about the kink itself or the various tropes for it. it stems from the fact that this kink and these associated elements like a/b/o are largely created and supported by cis people. what do you think this looks like to us? that you would rather use convoluted psuedoscience to wave away biological impossibilities with cismpreg, just so you can have dudes with dicks? that you would rather pass off things like anal live birth as normal in your creative works, rather than make a character a transman, which wouldn’t alter the character in any other way other than their genitalia? it holds up cissexist values that only further alienate and offend transmasculine fans of this kink, including myself and others. as well as any other transmasc people who have to see cismpreg art and be reminded that the majority of cis sentiments is that penis = male, and in order for it to be ‘male pregnancy’ a guy has to have a dick even though thats entirely biologically bogus. its hurtful. its insulting to some of us who are trying to normalize our bodies and use interests like this as coping mechanisms, creative expression, and of course, good wholesome jerk-off material that we can actually relate to
