“Paranormal Mpreg Romance By Wolf Non-Shifter”

… Lordy lord do I love this Fic… Once again an All-Time favorite… I highly suggest you read the review I wrote on this Fic if you want to hear me rant about how gosh darn perfect it was. (Mpreg! Draco)
– The kid, despite being an alpha, loves Artie so much that they will sit with Artie and let him teach them how to do things like knit, or take care of dolls in order to prepare for taking care of a mate
Supernatural RPF: Wait for It (originally written for Blindfold SPN) and companion piece Good Things Come by concernedlily – slash, pairing Jared/Jensen. semi-non-AU fic in which Jensen, an alpha, is cast to play Dean Winchester, a beta, and beta Jared is cast to play alpha character Sam Winchester, against common entertainment industry and societal conventions.
After a bout of ill health his father seems ready to pass the torch at any moment. Unfortunately, the timing couldn’t be any worse. Rocco has only just decided that he needs to part ways with his current boyfriend Skye, but he’s going to need a… mate in order for the pack to accept him fully as Alpha—not to mention fend off evil rival Jarvis’ challenge to his status.
“No, no, no, no,” he kept chanting out loud while shaking his head in disbelief. He still had a little over six weeks, this cannot be happening right here and now. Not when his brother was still a demon tied to a chair, mocking him for Sam’s incompetence, completely ignorant of what was going to happen next.
I really like that these two men started their work life together in friendship and respect. Interestingly enough this Alpha had no problem working for a boss who is an Omega. I just hope that the Omega hasn’t sold his career down the drain for love (?) since an Alpha would never have to make that choice.
The poltergeist shrugged and chuckled, kissing Dionysus’ forehead after moving his bangs to the side. “Oh, we’ll think of something. For now, why don’t we work on another batch?” He grinned wickedly, his hand dropping between the alien’s legs.
Tears stung his eyes as he was finally released of the pain and he swam up toward the surface, his tail pumping to get him up before it again. When he reached the rocks and broke the surface, he gasped at the returning pain; it was even worse than the first two times.
Raising our young is a difficult process. To limit emotional attachment, we are not permitted to raise our own children. The moment they are born, a couple steps up to take them away. You don’t even get to hear them cry. This, like our deadened feelings, is also for a good cause. Handfuls of my species adopt multiple offspring, while those who are too irresponsible cannot corrupt young minds. In a sense, everybody wins.
So I finished Striped and Bear and immediately had to read the second part of this story…so glad that I did. I love the premise of this story…differences bringing us together! Bears, tigers, oh my!!! This story picks up with Mark (Matthew’s younger brother) meeting his mate Zeke (Ezra’s cousin)…alright, a little contrite I know but the story was fantastic. Love, adventure, kidnapping, Polar bears…it’s all here. Thoroughly enjoyed this story and hope we get to see where the Bruner family and their mates (& kids) go next…Gus Klondike did another great job bringing the characters to live and using differing inflections to the characters. Good book…
Writing from both the cutting edge of scientific discovery and the front-lines of elite athletic performance, National Magazine Award-winning science journalist Alex Hutchinson presents a revolutionary account of the dynamic and controversial new science of endurance.
Comments? Suggestions? Have you written/read an mpreg fic that isn’t on the list? Feel free to leave a comment on this post or, if there is an error on a character post, on the post in question. If the fic you’re linking to is in a language other than English or French, please include a short summary of its major features (pregnant character/s, warnings, kinks, etc.) so that I can categorise it properly.
‘Home’ is a small house in a neighborhood that never changes, where the weather is always sunny and there’s no need to buy groceries, mow the grass or pay the bills. ‘Home’ is a place where Sam can return to and be the old Sam, not the King of Hell.‘Home’ is where Dean lives.A place created by Sam, a golden cage in Hell, but their home nonetheless.
Rocco Shore has become the alpha of his pack after the death of his father, but his promotion comes with a host of problems. He wants out of his relationship with his omega Sky, he is challenged for the pack leadership and he wants someone to love.
I’m a curious sort of person and I couldn’t let this just sit without exploring it further, so I began reaching out on social media to find out why we like this sort of obscure subgenre.  Through Twitter I was getting a lot of amazing feedback, but a lot of people don’t feel comfortable discussing it so openly so I set up a survey where people could anonymously explain why this genre is so appealing to them. The responses were incredible.  What struck me was not only the similarities among our responses, but also the rare response that made the experience personal for that one respondent alone.
Maybe I’ll buy a pacifier and give him it in a box with a tag on it… Maybe… Or maybe a bottle…? Hmmm… This is harder than I thought… Maybe… Maybe I’ll do a whole thing; a diaper, a bottle, and a pacifier as well as booties… Yeah! That sounds good! Now to do it. I’ll tell you how it goes Juniper. I’m gonna name you Juniper. The one friend I can tell anything to.
A series sometimes starts getting stale after the first couple books, but that is most certainly not the case with Arthur’s Breaking Free series. It keeps getting more entertaining, making sure the reader wants more. Eagerly anticipating the next book. Wondering what the tale the author has spun this time.
Rocco is an alpha raised and living in the wild who has a dire need for a mate ASAP. Kade is an omega city living wolf who was raised by humans. Each of these wolves have a need and longing for love in their lives but haven’t had any luck finding so far. Rocco has to deal with pack politics as his father lays dying. Kade is an overworked, stressed wolf trying to make a difference for shifters living in the city. Both of these men feel an instant connection to the other but Rocco’s pack issues threaten to tear the men apart.
And omg thank you all so much for the suggestions! They helped out a lot and I really hope you like the way this chapter turns out. I didn’t use Mary or John because of how often it is used. I hope you don’t mind. It’s been very difficult to write it.
One thing the Men of Letter seemed to like is live in luxury. The tub was big enough to fit five people (it made Dean wonder why they would need to be able to fit all those people in a tub.) and Dean was grateful for it at the moment because it meant that both he and Castiel could fit easier to help Sam with the birth of his, Christ our, child.
