The two eggs had his anus painfully stretched, like fire was burning inside his passage as he pushed. They would crown at the same time, but the moment he stopped to breathe they slipped back inside. “G-Get them out!” He groaned. His legs were soaked with his slimy purple birthing goo and a puddle was quickly forming where he was in the middle of the floor.
I have enjoyed these stories from the first book. The mc are so easy to care about. The author really has a knack for creating great characters. The Series has had an ever expanding ring of evil that holds you in suspense. This book resolves that problem and at last the hea we’ve waited for is achieved. I hope the author revisits this omegaverse again. It still has stories to tell.
Sam was a rare carrier. When Dean and he had both started their relationship they had been extra careful. Sam took his pills regularly and they always used a condom when they had sex. Unfortunately, carrying an angel around really contradicted birth control, or so Castiel told him over the phone. So here he was, six and half weeks away until his due date and instead of relaxing like the doctor told him to (she didn’t like how small Sam’s stomach was. It looked like he had gotten a small pouch of fat instead of looking pregnant and he only gained fifteen pounds.), he was curing his demonic brother. The brother who was also the father of his unborn child and whohad no clue that Sam was pregnant.
A shoulder squeezed out of him slowly and he shuddered at the pain of being stretched further, but the egg was still wedged tightly in his anus despite it’s little progress. He continued to bear down, crying out as both the baby and the egg were pushed out slowly together, forcing him to spread his legs even further to make room for both.
The Cursed Egg of the Wyvernic Part 3          Toric locked the doors of he and Galadra’s bedchamber. He did not want a gaggle of serving girls and healers interfering with his work. He was going to need all his concentration and power to save his wife and child, and even that wasn’t a guarantee.
No, not a rock.  A large black bird.  That was what had fallen right out of the sky.  With horror, the mage realized that this one had been long dead, which meant that there was more than one bird death.
I read a very wide range of books, and I bought this one thinking it would be a trashy novella, a light flimsy read after finishing a heavy series. I was absolutely shocked, because this novella is really well written. Everything about this book at first glance, the themes, the tags, the premise, even the blurb, appearance and the author’s alias promises trash, and instead the writing is fairly high quality, with solid characters that originate from a very cliche archetype but which are multilayered and nuanced. Even the very standard Alpha-meets-fated-mate plot is executed surprisingly well, with the central relationship being dynamic and determined by the interaction of the two main characters, who are both struggling with a sexual attraction that is foisted on them by their wolves. The underlying sense of realism in the characters, their point of view, and the world in which the story occurs, really set the story and its drama apart from melodramatic romantic renditions of similar plots.
Kim shook her head sadly, “I know it is custom for Veela’s to feed their child by breast, but your body isn’t up for it, Draco. Give it a day or two, and I’m sure you will be in the perfect condition to breast feed.” She reassured hastily at my dark look.
