“Mpreg Length Omegaverse Explained Knotting”

Mood swings he could deal with. That was more of a personal problem anyway. He just had to make sure he thought things through before snapping at someone. But the need to scent, to touch, the fact that just being near an alpha made him calmer was sort of difficult to deal with on his own. It wasn’t something he liked admitting to people.
Gripping Noir’s shoulder to steady himself as he bent over the table, and biting his fist to quiet himself, the alien bore down hard, whimpering as pain bloomed across his abdomen. The contractions were lasting longer and getting more painful as they did. The egg was already half out and knowing he wouldn’t even be able to move until it was out, he bore down again, whining as quietly as he could as it was pushed out and rubbed against the egg that had already been pushed out.
The Republic of Heaven by Blind_Author – His Dark Materials AU. WIP (okay so this is my fave out of all my faves but it hasn’t been updated in forever but I refuse to believe it’s been abandoned or else I’ll perish) (the fave)

At least two dozen eggs were littering the floor, all his. “Ahh…” He winced, the last contraction to let him know to push out the afterbirth. Closing his gray eyes again, he grunted and pushed, until the afterbirth flopped out with a wet slurp sound. Waddling awkwardly away, he moved to lean his back against the cool wall and slid down, hissing at the soreness of sitting.
The blurb for this fired my imagination from the start. In a world where omegas are second-class citizens with few civil rights and almost no protections under the law. Bring it on I thought. I’m ready.
The fics where I have seen it used “well” do one of two things – either the mpreg is “off screen” and/or implied at the end of a fic or the mpreg is used as a “get together” plot device similar to a bonding spell or a potions accident (basically the characters have one-off sex and have to deal with a surprise pregnancy). My only problem with the latter is that I think a potions accident makes for a more creative fic.
This. I don’t have an issue with the concept of mpreg, but every one I’ve seen turns the character into a ice-cream craving bipolar nut job, and usually ends with said character becoming essentially barefoot and pregnant…. Can’t have a job, gotta stay home and take care of the babies and look we’ve got another on the way! Um, no. So I think my issue is that it’s usually written in a way that would be highly sexist if the character was a female… Admittedly, I haven’t read many mpregs, so I may have just had a bad sampling.
By the way. Enchanted Shadows is the sequel to Balancing Karma by I.D. Locke….it also has its own little short story after it called Due Date. They can both be found on the same website as Balancing Karma.

Lol yes but I couldn’t be bothered thinking of a more inclusive term since all types of twisted relationships happen in HP fanfiction. I once read a Dumbledore/Dobby pairing, very explicit and all sorts of weird, technically both males but, meh. I’m not going to think about it.
Mpreg Part2/3Brett woke up and saw her sleeping. He felt better but whenever he moved his belly jolted with pain. He was afraid something bad happened to his baby. He set aside the thought and brought a blanket and draped Vicky. He went into the kitchen and was starting to make dinner when his belly was tight. He rubbed it to ease the pain but it still hurt every now and then. Vicky woke up to smell burning. She quickly got up and looked around through the thin layer of steam. She saw Brett laying on the kitchen floor coughing. She ran over to him and checked if he was okay. She saw the stove burning on fire. She grabbed the fire extinguisher and blew out the stove. After a few minutes the steam starting to go away. She helped him on the couch and noticed he was in pain coming from his stomach. She massaged his belly and looked up at him. “DONT DO ANY WORK!! From now on I will!! You got me WORRIED!!” Vicky looks away and starts crying. “V-Vicky. I’m sorry. I just wanted to help.” “Well don’t.”
A truly wretched book. Everything seemed designed to annoy me from the fact that there were zero women in the universe to the unlikable main characters and cutesy made up terms like “alphahole” and “omegin.”
Over the years they’d watched Anne Marie grow, they couldn’t deny that their daughter’s behaviour was… odd. For one thing, she hardly took notice of anyone. She never played with other children, instead preferring to play by herself or spin in a corner, or follow insects wherever they went. This had lead to many an incident where either Spy or Sniper would lose her the moment they turned their backs, leading them to run around like headless chickens trying to find her.
Most omega werewolves want a mate and pups, but Lee Aung prefers an unconventional party-boy lifestyle. Yet at 42, he’s stopped going into heat, which means he’s expired goods – no longer a fertile, young omega that alpha wolves drool over. So Lee scams free samples of Wet Heat, a synthetic pheromone, by pretending to be a happily mated test subject at Wet Heat headquarters. There, Lee spends two years being interviewed by the reserved alpha scientist, Cain.
