“Alpha Beta Personally I Love Mpreg”

When he awoke in the recovery room following the operation, Dr. Olivier was there by his bedside with a warm and welcoming smile on her face.  Although he was disoriented from both the anesthesia and the cocktail of medications he’d been administered to alleviate his pain, he had to admit that she made for quite the sight.  He’d always had a thing for brunett
NOTE: This is a non-shifter Omegaverse story with alpha/omega/beta dynamics, heats, knotting, and mpreg. In this world, omegas are second-class citizens with few civil rights and almost no protections under the law. Trigger warnings for physical, emotional, and sexual abuse
Jay Sanchez, a beta with anger issues and intense hatred for the world and everyone in it, crosses paths with Aaron McGarren, an alpha jock who shrouds himself with stereotypes in an attempt to hide his crippling anxiety. When they meet, sparks fly. By sparks, I mean the sparks of conflict and a ha…
It doesn’t help that… he’s completely and utterly alone, with only quick and easy online hook-ups for company. But what would he do if he met somebody that he couldn’t discard after a few sexy camera chats?
Wyatt Kent would give anything to leave the small, podunk town of Spruce Falls. But after a horrific car crash leaves his older brother Shane without his legs, Wyatt can’t bring himself to make the escape, seemingly destined to watch his brother’s emotional health deteriorate day after day, while letting his own dreams of a bright future slowly slip from his reach. And the reappearanc…e of Shane’s gorgeous former best friend Knox Porter doesn’t help.
One Saturday night, Charlie couldn’t get to sleep. There was the horribly loud music coming from the bar in town, which he could hear all the way out to his house. By 4:30 AM, it still hadn’t stopped, so he’d had enough. He walked into town, to the bar, and entered in hesitantly, with the intent to complain about the noise. What he saw was not what he expected.
* baby is more important than the mental or physical wellbeing of omega. Everyone refused to consider abortion even with omega’s previous history showing it was risky physically and damaging emotionally. They thought a full hysterectomy to save his life needed to be discussed and approved, and that done while he’s there bleeding out. Asking him if he wanted it was an afterthought and only done to placate, regardless that the only other option was death.
The world building was ok, if not comprehensive. There was a decent amount of character development, although the MC’s didn’t truly resolve anything with theirs. The final 4 months was addressed as an info dump rather than a true story. It wasn’t bad, but it didn’t make me want to read anything else by this author either….not without some significant changes in style.
But of course, Noir’s wicked grin said he thought of anything other than that. “Now Dionysus, I really doubt anything will happen while we’re enjoying a nice, delightful meal at the new restaurant I’ve found to take you to.” Noir wrapped his arms around Dionysus’ gravid middle, a hand pulling up the shirt that struggled to contain the dome of eggs.
A.M. Arthur was born and raised in the same kind of small town that she likes to write about, a stone’s throw from both beach resorts and generational farmland. She’s been creating stories in her head since she was a child and scribbling them down nearly as long, in a losing battle to make the fictional voices stop. She credits an early fascination with male friendships (bromance hadn’t been coined yet back then) and “The Young Riders” with her later discovery of and subsequent love affair with m/m romance stories.
Now to prove his brain wrong he sat waiting for his cell to tell him that the five minutes wait period is over. As if on cue his cell rang saying time was up. He grabbed the test in shaking hands. He flipped it over with closed eyes. He opened his eyes and looked at the Positive looking back at him. He scowled at
Two strong, passionate, driven and lonely men connect in this romantic story. Excellent writing, strong character development and an engaging plot kept me reading the whole story in one sitting. So many warm and fuzzy feels with this story, I love how the author has created a very unique story.
He was now sweating freely and desperately just wanted it out so he could give birth to his third and be done. But as he continued to push through each contraction and the egg bulged his anus further, his third baby was inching it’s way down his birth canal. “Please, don’t…!” He gasped, his grip on the rocks white knuckled now.
I often find that MM romances cannot keep my interest long enough to get through to the end of the book. So often the author seems to go over the top with the interactions between the main characters and it just comes across as fake. This is not the case with Odin Nightshade’s work. This is only the second book by Odin I have read, and i have not read the others in this series but intend to do so when I the chance. Odin has a way of weaving a tale that will pull you into the lives of the characters and bring them to life. You feel what they feel. You long for the things they long for. And you weep over things that happened in their pasts to scar them. Then, when the past is healed and they find their Happily Ever After, you find yourself tearing up and cheering for them.
Mpreg part 1Being due with triplets had hardly stopped Bret, a local stripper, from working. His clientele had actually grown, men and women both apparently loving a very pregnant stripper work his magic. And the father of his unborn babies had been paying well, for he was the Chief detective in town.
Omegaverse is really a fascinating fandom invention. 50% of it is totally problematic and reinforcing a lot of fucked up patriarchal, rape culture values. The other 50% is some of the most insightful, subversive social commentary I’ve ever read on gender identity/gender roles/queer oppression.[10]
zoheusher20: What more can I say? The writing style and little details drew me into the book and for the entirety of the story I was Juliet. I felt her turmoil and emotions and every trouble or triumph as they arrived. This story was very different and had quite a few little but unexpected twists that made it…
Without further ado, then, here are just some of my Omegaverse obsessions aka the roadmap of my descent into insanity. N.B.: My poison of choice in terms of fanfiction tends to be heavily Holmesian, and most of these focus explicitly on Holmes/Watson pairings (Sherlock/John in the BBC!verse).
