As the landlord of The Dragon’s Lair and leader of The Black Dragons Motorcycle Club, Axel Carmichael has seen it all and done it all. He’s a respected and experienced dom. Nothing shocks him anymore, and nobody catches him off guard. When Bayden rides up to The Dragon’s Lair on a bike worth more than most men earn in a year, and immediately demonstrates that he has far more attitude than sense, it’s easy for Axel to write him off as a silly little rich boy who’s about to get himself killed.
As a fan of the MPreg genre, I love to find new authors for a new twist and something just a little different. What I loved most about this one is the characters, they are very well developed and their relationship was that insta-love/lust kind of relationship. It is refreshing to see them come together organically. What I did not like is the ARC copy of this book, I had to borrow the full book under KU to get the full story. Other than that, I will definitely read the other book in the series.
Kidnapped by Voldemort, rescued and learned he was pregnant with a vampire’s child, Dumbledore wants it aborted only thing left for Harry to do was flee. After meeting Bella he goes to a place hardly on the map Forks while there he meets the Cullens. Will he survive the pregnancy? Slash mpreg
Betas are subordinate to Alphas and may or may not be able to impregnate Omegas; in some fanworks Betas aren’t present and the trope is known as Alpha/Omega, in others they take the role and functions of Omegas and Omegas aren’t present. Betas are often presented as having “normal” human anatomy with none of the special attributes of Alphas or Omegas.
I don’t think I’ve read any other omegaverse piece with such nuance and depth. The Alpha-Beta-Omega dynamics are central to the story and potential relationships but not overstated or overly used as explicit sizzle.
Shrugging, Noir shook his head and chuckled quietly. “We will, after you’ve finished your meal. It’s rather rude not to eat it all, don’t you agree? Besides, I’m certain it’ll help ease your pains. I’m pretty sure some hospitals even encourage laboring mothers to eat to keep their energy up for the upcoming birth.” He hummed, tapping his chin thoughtfully.
Prom can’t hold on anymore and can’t wait for Noct any longer. He’s a screaming and crying mess at this point. He is in a ton of pain, in the middle of nowhere in a shed, and about to give birth whether he likes it or not. He comes to terms with what is going to happen when Noct and the others show up right on time. Gladio calls an ambulance but he knows it will take too long to get there. So Ignis and Gladio do their best at being a doctor while Noct immediately gets close to Prom and comforts him as best he can. It isn’t long after that Prompto gives birth to Nikolas and the paramedics show up about five minutes later. Both mother and child turn out healthy and okay after all that.
His long coat did well about covering the two lumps where the eggs were stuck inside his pants, but it was getting harder to hide the slimy purple goo that had soaked through his pants and was running down his legs, soaking through his pant legs the more he pushed.
Tarly is a recluse, for the most part. He is an author of wildly famous success, but he has no one. Has never kissed anyone or made love with anyone, due to the “affliction” he has. He was told, when young it’s wiser not to be around people for long periods of time. He is an Alpha. He has been on the website but only for video hookups..nothing real, nothing meaningful.
The reserve was known for rescuing a rare and valuable species called Floks that could be separated into four subtypes, much like humans have the male and female sexes but multiple genders. There were Alphas and Carriers, and those could each be split into two. Alphas had normal Alphas, and Chief Alphas. The Chiefs were the strongest and/or most handsome in the group. The reserve didn’t really run in such a way where there were Chiefs, but Georgina supposed if she had to pick out of the three Alphas they had, their red one with no group would be the Chief. The Carriers had a similar subtype, a Queen, or simply put, the Alpha of the group’s favorite Carrier.
the main characters are kinda funny and very serious. feeling like you are being forced to “stay in the closet” because of family obligations is not funny, though. i loved how his brother reassured him and let him know that its ok to be yourself. the sex was great, the little bit of violence was not over-done, and the hea was also great. all in all a great trilogy, so far. i cant wait to read the third book.
I did have a couple issues with this story, and spoiler alert because I can’t talk about what I didn’t like without spoilers. I thought it was dumb in the first two stories that no one happened to notice when their condoms failed, but in this story they have unprotected sex and Colin is surprised when he ends up pregnant? His only line of thought is that he must have a virus? Believe me, if the guy is so anti-kid, he’s going to be worried about pregnancy from the moment they had sex.
Niso squeezed his hand lightly and nodded. “It’s okay Francis, breathe and push!” He said, looking to see the baby’s head was out now. “It’s out now, you just have to get the shoulders out in another push.” He said, moving to kneel behind Francis.

What surprised me the most was how few pregnant women or women who have children actually read the genre. I thought the number would be much higher. Over 91% of our respondents have never been pregnant. Of the small number who have been (or the one respondent is pregnant with her first child… congratulations by the way!), the reasons for finding the genre isn’t all that surprising. It’s relatable.
Despite the 3 1/2 star, I enjoyed Saved and I do recommend it. I think part of the reason I’m not giving this story a higher rating is because I’m familiar with A.M. Arthurs’ work, and absolutely love her stories, but for me this one fell a little flat in comparison. This first book in the series is comparable to other Mpreg stories, in my experience. With A.M. Arthur though, I was expecting a bit more I guess. With that being said, I have read the second in the series, Seen, and it’s wonderful. It’s exactly what I’ve come to expect and I thoroughly enjoyed it and highly recommend. You do need to read Saved first though as it sets the stage. That’s not to say reading Saved is a chore. Absolutely not. It was enjoyable, it just didn’t have the same heart and soul poured into it as Seen. Like Saved was written to set the stage and not so much out of a driving need to tell Braun’s story itself. I think part of my problem also was not actually the story itself, but the initial world building. I had some hang-ups about it until later in the story when things were explained a bit more clearly. That kind of threw me off for awhile. Other than that, the characters, their relationship, the events in the story, all made for a good story and I do encourage everyone to give this one a go and then go on to read Seen which I really really liked 🙂
This is the first book of the Huntington Mountain Wolves series and features the Kincaid family. The book is hot and steamy, with rough-around-the-edges Alpha males, inexperienced Omegas, and sticky action. Yes, the book contains MPREG, and the Alpha male uses colorful language. There are twists and turns and tons of fun, what are you waiting for!
